On the 15th of June, UnScared will once again put your gains to good use and host its 8th edition of the Charity Lift In. The Charity Lift In is an unofficial weightlifting competition where all proceeds go to charity. This year's charity will be Stichting Vrolijk Kind. This wonderful charity ensures children from underpriviled families still have the oppertunity to participate in sports, fun days out and receive gifts on their birthdays.

A weightlifting competition consists of three attempts on the snatch, and three attempts on the clean and jerk. Prior experience with weightlifting competitions is not necessary. Athletes will be briefed on the rules and regulations beforehand, and all major rules will be explained again on the day itself. All participants and volunteers will receive an email with more details on the competition format and rules on Sunday 08-06. Tickets will be on sale until the 7th of June.

THE CHARITY LIFT IS AN UNSCARED MEMBERS-ONLY EVENT. We truly appreciate the enthusiasm we have received from those currently training at other gyms, but due to limited capacity we unfortunately cannot accept athletes from elsewhere at this moment. If you are still interested in participating in another manner, you are more than welcome to help out as a volunteer, or join the fun as a spectator.
